Update - 1.4.9


Hello Space Engineers!

We are proposeing seemingly small update, wich will apply many major changes.

Carefully read all the information – part of them will have a major impact on the gameplay itself.


New functions:


  • Automatization is a priority:
    The task of this function is to automate the connection of spaceships and space stations.
    Batteries in your ship will automatically set for charging after attach to the connectors.
    Also, you can use function in Timer block while connecting and disconnecting.

  • Configuration:
    Change name of connector:
      – [LOCK:TimerBlockName 1] – activate after connection
      – [UNLOCK:TimerBlockName 2] – activate after disconnect.


  • Change name of Timer block:
      – “TimerBlockName1”  name of block activated after connection
      – “TimerBlockName2”  name of block activated after disconnect.


  • Automatization is a priority:
    Have you ever wanted to mark your own GPS coordinates with its own color? Do you turn your GPS coordinates on and off because there’s to many of them? From now you can change the color of your GPS coordinates and assign them to your cockpit!

  • Configuration:
    – Enter your cockpit
    – Press K, choose GPS
    – Add to description: [COLOR:x,x,x]
    – Leave cockpit


  • You can pick your color from: ColorsRGB

     – Then pick up your numbers

    example:  rgb(137, 169, 203) then [COLOR:137,169,203]

  • Or use the prepared colors: [COLOR:Gold]

  • The procedure for assigning GPS coordinates to the cockpit:
    – Enter do cockpit and add a name [GROUP:PLANET,JUMPDRIVE].

       – PLANET is the name of the group.
       – You can add more than one group as well.
    – Now go to GPS tab and add to description [GPS:PLANET]
    – Uncheck a box “Show on HUD” and “Always visible”
    – Leave and enter cockpit again

Integrity Changes:

  • Light Armor +300% Integrity
  • Heavy Armor +750% Integrity
  • Windows +150% Integrity
  • Camera +100% Integrity
  • Doors +80% Integrity
  • Hangar Doors +150% Integrity
  • Armor Doors +150% Integrity


  • Due to the recent events on our server, production of tools, has been moved to Survival Kit
    – All tool types, are now produced only, by a Survival Kit
    – Assembler won’t produce tools anymore 


  • Decreased cost of PCU: (2200 -> 500)
  • Increased cost of building: “Pirate Component” (200 -> 2000)
  • Increased energy consumption during “standby state”: (50mw -> 200mw)
  • Increased moving speed: (20m/s -> 100m/s)
  • Increased amount carried components: (10 -> 30)
  • Increased welding speed (7 -> 14)
  • Increased grind speed (4 -> 7)


  • Gatling Gun
    – Increased cost of PCU: (80 -> 125)
    – Decreased rate of fire: (700 -> 300)
    – Decreased shoot in burst: (140 -> 70)
    – Increased spread angle: +50%


  • Compact Gatling Turret
    – Decreased rate of fire: (480 -> 360)
    – Increased spread angle: +50%


  • Compact Missile Turret
    – Decreased cost of PCU: (275 -> 225)
    – Increased spread angle: +50%


  • Large Missile Turret
    – Decreased cost of PCU: (275 -> 225)


  • Large Missile Launcher
    – Increased cost of PCU: (825 -> 225)
    – Decreased rate of fire: (73 -> 50)
    – Decreased shoot in burst: (19 -> 16)


  • Missiles speed +40%

  • Bullets speed +30%


  • Cryo Chamber:
    – Decreased cost of PCU: (800 -> 15)
    – Block doesn’t save a character inventory anymore when player goes offline

  • Conveyor Cube:
    – Increased cost of PCU: (10 -> 15)


  • Sensor
     Disabled ability to detect asteroids


  • Corrected description of blocks
  • Disabled option “Enable idle movement” in turrets 
  • Fixed language bug in “trader”
  • New picture of starting ship on Earth


  • Jumpdrive
    Turning off the jump function when there is a enemy player or object in a five kilometer radius.
